Message from President, KPAE
Namaskar Dear Biradari Members,
As we continue to strengthen our bonds as a community, it is both heartening and humbling to see the warmth, participation, and shared spirit that defines KPAE. From vibrant events to meaningful connections, our journey together continues to grow.
This month, we also pause to reflect, remember, and honour one of our beloved elders, whose presence enriched us all.
In Loving Memory of Surinder Uncle
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Surinder Uncle, a cherished member of our community and a truly remarkable soul.
Surinder Uncle embodied warmth, curiosity, and an infectious zest for life. Whether it was a community gathering, a celebration, or simply a conversation, he had a rare ability to light up the room with his laughter and presence. His childlike innocence, kindness, and genuine interest in people of all ages made him deeply loved across generations.
Many of us will fondly remember his enthusiasm at KPAE events—always eager to attend, to connect, and to ask about what was coming next. His energy was boundless, his spirit uplifting, and his humility ever-present. He carried himself with grace and warmth, leaving behind lasting impressions and cherished memories for all who knew him.
As his son Sumran ji so beautifully shared, Surinder Uncle lived a full life—embracing its ups and downs with positivity and acceptance. Even in his later years, his outlook remained inspiringly optimistic.
His parting words reflect the simplicity and wisdom with which he lived:
“I had a good life. I had ups and downs. I made mistakes. I had success. I enjoyed it. I had a good time. Take care, don’t worry, and be happy.”
Surinder Uncle’s love for the Kashmiri Pandit community was profound—he truly saw it as his extended family. His absence leaves a void that will be deeply felt.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Sumran ji and the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Om Shantihi Shantihi Shantihi 🙏
Our strength lies in our shared heritage, our connections, and the support we offer one another—both in celebration and in moments of loss.
Let us continue to build, support, and cherish this beautiful community together.
Warm regards,
Sunny
