KPAE came together for a truly uplifting 10km fundraising walk, where friendship, family and community spirit shone brightly. Led with energy, warmth and humour by many familiar faces, the day was filled with simple joys – children playing, parents connecting, elders sharing wisdom and everyone walking side by side. From heartfelt blessings and new friendships to samosas, jalebis and laughter along the way, the event reminded us that KPAE is more than an association – it is an extended family.

On 26 May 2025, KPAE made history with its first-ever Community Cricket Tournament at Catford, South East London. Nearly 70 players and supporters came together from across the UK, filling the day with the perfect mix of competitive cricket, Kashmiri warmth and community spirit. With thrilling matches, fine sportsmanship, delicious home-cooked treats and heartfelt camaraderie, the event was a true celebration of togetherness. This was a celebration of community, culture, and connection.

The Sevashram Sangha Temple in Shepherd’s Bush, West London, came alive on 8 March 2025 as the Kashmiri Pandit community gathered to celebrate Herath (Maha Shivratri) with devotion and joy. The atmosphere resonated with mantras, bhajans and shlokas, highlighted by heartfelt recitations from the youngest members, symbolising the strength of tradition across generations. With soulful bhajans, delicious prasad, and the tireless efforts of volunteers, the celebration became a true expression of faith, unity and cultural pride.

Over 140 of us came together for the KPAE New Year Dinner and Dance at Crowne Plaza, Marlow and the joy still lingers. It was heartwarming to watch children forging bonds, our senior members lighting up the dance floor and families traveling from near and far to celebrate as one biradhari. The highlight of the night was the dancing—an outpouring of energy and joy that united all generations. Truly, it was a celebration of community, love and unforgettable memories.

Last Saturday was nothing short of extraordinary—a joyful blend of badminton, competition, laughter and togetherness. The first-ever parent-child team format was a beautiful reminder of how our KPAE community bridges generations. From thrilling matches to heartfelt camaraderie, to cherishing little Anya’s first appearance, the day was truly special. Gratitude to Tanya ji, Rajiv ji and the entire team for their dedication in making this event better with each passing year.
